Bushy ParkRun - 6 years old

Bushy Park Run is 6 years old this weekend. Bushy Park and ParkRun has played a special role in my running and personal training career. It was the first race that I took part in back in 2005, was an integral part of my training for my first marathon, London 2006 and has been a race I’ve recommended to hundreds of personal training clients. Race co-ordinator Anne Coward is now a client too! So, I’m aiming to make it along to the 6th anniversary race on Saturday. The anniversary races always attract huge crowds and a field of around a 1,000 is anticipated for this Saturday.
The race organising team are advising runners to get there as early as possible and to avoid using the car at all costs to avoid what will be a full car park. If you can’t make it to Bushy Park, then check out a Park Run near you.
