Registration for 2011 Paris Marathon now open

The 2011 Virgin London Marathon ballot results are out this week and there are sure to be thousands of happy and thousands of not so happy people opening their post this week. If you’re in then congratulations and what’s more we’ll be providing weekly training tips to ensure that you have the information you need to run your best on the big day next April.
If you didn’t get into the ballot then there are still plenty of options available to you. The option we took this year was to enter the Paris Marathon. Unlike London registration is on a first come first served basis, with a sliding scale of registration prices. The 35th edition of the Paris marathoon takes place on the 10th April 2011. Currently 17,000 of the 40,000 places have been filled and the cost of registration is 79 €. We absolutely loved the race this year, with a flat, atmospheric course taking in all of the leading landmarks in this historic city. Registration can be done online at the official Paris Marathon website.
