The Bupa Great North Run is the most iconic and inspiring half marathon in the world. This year the race will attract 54,000 runners to take part in the 13.1 mile race across Newcastle and Gateshead. In its 30th year the Bupa Great North run will attract runners of all ages and abilities including club runners, charity runners, celebrity runners and elite athletes.

 

 

The event gets broad coverage across local and national TV, Radio and Press with comprehensive coverage live on the BBC. The entire route is packed with enthusiastic supporters creating a truly unforgettable race.

 

 

The event is now 11 weeks away so for those runners who can currently run up to a 10K there is still time to train in a structured fashion to arrive fit to run a half marathon on Spetember 19th in Newcastle.  A number of charities have
